Our birdhouse camera is shipped with a standard 1.5 inch (38mm) entrance hole, which is suitable for most bird species. If a smaller opening is needed, you can request a metal reducer plate and we will include it at no extra cost. The reducer plate adjusts the entrance size and also helps keep out unwanted species.

I have had my Nestbox for almost a year and have seen a few visitors and overnight stops but no nesting. Hopefully next year. The box is well-built and being permanently wired/powered it is put up and forget. The recordings are motion-activated and stored on a cloud, with notifications. The quality of the recordings is excellent. The App and its service work well but would be improved by a better video player with controls and an option to download recordings. I can’t comment as to the accuracy of the AI bird identification as almost all my visits have been blue tits. The size of the entrance hole could be altered for different birds. Option to share your Nestbox video online and to view other’s Nestboxes, and live stream if you wish. I am happy with the nest box and looking forward to the spring.
