Our birdhouse camera system is fully compatible with Powerline Adapters (sold separately). If you have an outdoor power socket, the Internet signal can be transmitted through it. Please see section 4 of our setup video above for a detailed explanation or read more about them here.
Once you have your birdhouse camera set up and fully connected, download our smartphone app and create an account. Once your account is created, the app will automatically pair with your smartphone, allowing you to watch from anywhere on the go. If you encounter any issues with pairing, please reach out to our support team by clicking the mail icon at the top of this page.
Open the app and navigate to the Camera screen. At the bottom of this screen, you should see an icon that says “Go Live on Facebook.” Tap it, enter a title and description for your video, then tap “Go Live.” Your birdhouse camera will now be shared with your friends. Please note that this feature currently only supports live streaming to Facebook Profiles and is not compatible with Groups and Pages.
The wired cable can reach up to 320 feet (100 meters), which is much longer than most wireless birdhouse camera systems. A wired connection ensures the best video quality, providing clear images without any dropouts.
Our birdhouse camera comes with a 1.5-inch (38mm) entrance hole size for orders placed in North America. For customers in Europe and Asia, the entrance hole size is 1.1 inches (28mm). If you need a custom size, please let me know, and we can accommodate your request.

I have had my Nestbox for almost a year and have seen a few visitors and overnight stops but no nesting. Hopefully next year. The box is well-built and being permanently wired/powered it is put up and forget. The recordings are motion-activated and stored on a cloud, with notifications. The quality of the recordings is excellent. The App and its service work well but would be improved by a better video player with controls and an option to download recordings. I can’t comment as to the accuracy of the AI bird identification as almost all my visits have been blue tits. The size of the entrance hole could be altered for different birds. Option to share your Nestbox video online and to view other’s Nestboxes, and live stream if you wish. I am happy with the nest box and looking forward to the spring.
